The battle for the soul is waged by youth and, for decades, the church in America has been losing. The future of the church is her youth and at Wellspring Family Church we want to engage, equip, and empower this generation. The Youth Ministry at Wellspring strives to engage youth in authentic, Christ-centered community where kids feel connected and loved. We seek to equip and strengthen our teens to know and obey the Word as genuine followers of Christ.
Unashamed of the gospel, we empower our youth to embrace their unique gifts, run the race under in His grace, and invite others to join the party.
No programming at 10:45am, Youth will remain with the parents in the Worship Service.
Every Sunday morning before the worship service, grades 6-12 are welcome to hang out from 9:30-10:30 am in the Youth Room. We use this time to laugh, catch up, connect, learn and apply the Word, and pray. Make sure you grab a doughnut and some juice on the way in!
Every Sunday night from 6:30-8:00 pm Wellspring is a great place for kids to be. Our youth start showing up around 6:15 and mingle around the pool table, foos ball, and air hockey, and spike ball before the big game. At about 7:00, we welcome visitors, celebrate birthdays with the worst chorus of happy birthday you can imagine, and learn the Word in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We end the night in small groups where we can really talk and listen to each other.
Movie nights, retreats, nerf wars, pizza parties, there is always something going on for Wellspring youth! Contact Pastor Steve Otey to find out what’s coming up.
At Wellspring we view the Youth as key to accomplishing our mission. Youth volunteer to serve in the nursery and children’s programs on Sunday mornings, serve as helpers in Camp Motion and King’s Kids Camp, go on mission trips, and help in tons of other ways. If you want to use your gifts to serve the Lord, we will find a place for you!
