Our Youth Ministry
Youth MINISTRY
Teens just aren’t the future of the church, they are the church today! We don’t want to just have a ministry for students, we want to have a ministry of students! We want students involved in leadership in our youth ministry, and also view students as a key part of the life of our church. We want students involved and serving in the church at large. The Youth Ministry at Wellspring strives to engage youth in authentic, Christ-centered community where kids feel connected and loved. We seek to equip and strengthen our teens to know and obey the Word as genuine followers of Christ.
Unashamed of the gospel, we empower our youth to embrace their unique gifts, run the race under in His grace, and invite others to join the party.
Sunday Morning
9:30 am Sunday school in the Youth Room
10:45 am Worship Service in the Sanctuary
Every Sunday morning before the worship service, grades 6-12 are welcome to hang out from 9:30-10:30 am in the Youth Room. We use this time to laugh, catch up, connect, learn and apply the Word, and pray. Make sure you grab a doughnut and some juice on the way in!
Sunday Nights
Every Sunday night from 6:00-8:00 pm Wellspring is a great place for kids to be. Our youth start showing up around 5:30 and mingle around the pool table, foos ball, and new friends. We play fun games like Spikeball, 9 Square in the Air, (and lots more), we worship together, eat together, and learn the Word in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We end the night in small groups where we can really talk and listen to each other.
Special Events
Movie nights, retreats, nerf wars, pizza parties, there is always something going on for Wellspring youth! Contact Pastor Steve Otey to find out what’s coming up.
Service
At Wellspring we view the Youth as key to accomplishing our mission. Youth volunteer to serve in the nursery and children’s programs on Sunday mornings, serve as helpers in Camp Motion and King’s Kids Camp, go on mission trips, and help in tons of other ways. If you want to use your gifts to serve the Lord, we will find a place for you!
